The oi spelling for /oy/ is not used at the end of English words. Instead, oi can be used in the beginning or middle of a word before a consonant. When spelling a word with the /oy/ sound at the end of the word or before a vowel, use the oy spelling. To add a suffix to a word with Special Vowel Sounds oi/oy, just add the suffix.
